Strategic Management of Resources
CERTIFICATION REVIEW COURSE
The Lehigh Valley Chapter is proud to announce the availability of the CPIM review course for Strategic Management of Resources. The subject matter of SMR includes higher level thinking on strategic planning and implementation. This requires an understanding of how market requirements drive the resources and processes of all organizations.
Operations strategy is the foundation upon which operations planning and control decisions should be based. Strategic decision-making significanly affects the organization and often requires widespread changes. To contribute to this effort, it is important to understand how an organization develops its strategic goals, and how it configures its systems and technologies to address strategic objectives.
This module will span 9 sessions and address these main topics:
1. Aligning the resources with the strategic plan.
2.Configuring and integrating the operating processes to support the strategic plan.
3. Implementing change.
